Is the swimming pool heated?

Yes both the pool and spa are heated all year round.

Do you have one bedroom accommodation available?

All apartments are two bedroom (plus we have one two level, three bedroom Penthouse available). If a one bedroom apartment is requested, we close off the second bedroom and second bathroom and charge a one bedroom rate. The main bedroom has a queen bed with shower ensuite. The second bedroom has two single beds and the bathroom has a shower over the bath. The one bedroom configuration is not available during the High and Mid seasons.

Do you have security parking?

Yes, Talisman has secure underground parking. Security cameras are also installed in the carpark and other common areas. Outside office hours, the lifts can only be accessed by apartment guests.

What is the best way to get to Talisman?

The closest airport to Talisman is Coolangatta, which is approximately a 25 minute drive from Broadbeach. The Brisbane airport is approximately 85 minute by car. From Brisbane Airport, a train travels to Nerang Station then transfers by bus or taxi are available to Broadbeach. You can also book door to door bus transfers from either airport. Limousines and taxis can also be an affordable option. Information and bookings for all these options can be made by clicking on the Tours and Attractions icon on our website.

What if I arrive late in the evening?

The office reception is open as follows:

8.30am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)

9.00am – Noon (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays)

If you will be arriving outside of these hours, your keys will be available through our after hours service. Upon arriving at Talisman, there is a late check in phone at the front entrance. Lift the receiver to get instructions on how to access the keys to your booked apartment.

Do the apartments contain washing and cooking facilities?

All of our apartments are fully self contained. Facilities include TV, Foxtel cable TV, PABX telephone service, DVD players, dishwashers, microwave ovens, kitchens and cooking utensils as well as separate laundries with washing machine and clothes dryer.

Is cable TV provided at no extra charge?

All apartments offer Foxtel cable TV. The package offers the basic channels, some movie channels and all Fox sports including the racing channel.

Can I hire a cot or pram during my stay?

Baby cots, prams and additional roll away beds can be hired through reception.

Can I arrange to have additional people stay with me?

Yes. When booking an apartment, prices quoted cover two persons in a one bedroom apartment and 4 persons in a two bedroom apartment. The maximum number of persons allowed in a one bedroom apartment is 3 persons. The maximum number of persons allowed in a two bedroom apartment is 6 persons.

Rollaway beds are available for hire for an additional person if required. The charge for each additional person is $35 per day (low season) which includes the hire of a rollaway bed and linen.

Are the apartments serviced daily or weekly?

All our apartments are serviced on a weekly basis.

Daily services and linen changes can be provided, but an additional charge will be incurred. Any additional services can be arranged through reception.

Linen, including towels, as well as a starter pack containing soap, toilet paper, kitchen and laundry washing powders and tea/coffee making requirements are provided.

How far is Talisman located from Gold Coast attractions and facilities?

Talisman is located in the heart of Broadbeach within walking distance to all the Broadbeach attractions and entertainment but far enough away to avoid the noise. Approximate distances for your information:
